Terms and Conditions

PRICES

All prices are F.O.B. factory and are exclusive of taxes, cartoning, packaging, crating, freight and any other incidental cost. Every effort will be made to notify customers who have purchased in the previous 12-month period of any price changes; however, prices are always subject to change without notice.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

All orders must be in writing. Mail or fax P.O. or signed quotation sheet. Verbal orders are not accepted. Confirming orders must be clearly marked ?confirming?. We cannot be responsible for duplicate orders if the aforementioned is not complied with. MMW will send an acknowledgment of all orders and that acknowledgment is binding. If there is any error in the acknowledgment, notify the factory immediately. Lack of such notification is an assumption of the accuracy of the order. Changes made to existing orders must be in writing and mutually agreed upon by the customer and Master Metal Works. Order revisions may effect the quoted price.

CARE OF FINISHES

Master Metal Works produces more than thirty finishes. Some of these finishes require special handling when cleaning. Those requiring care are Brass, Bronze and Copper. In most cases these finishes are shipped with a clear coating to prevent tarnish from forming on the surface. Strong cleaners or abrasives will remove this protection and the finish will be damaged. When necessary, use only a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean. Soap and detergents are harmful. If you have any questions about the finish, please check with Master Metal Works.

FINISH OPTIONS

Unless otherwise indicated on a specific product page, these are MMW?s standard finishes: Matte Black, Polished & Satin Chrome, Polished, Satin & Antique Brass/Bronze, Polished, Satin, Jitterbug and Random Textured Stainless Steel.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE COATING PROCESS WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE CONSISTENCY IN COLOR, SHADE OR GRAIN FROM ORDER TO ORDER. MASTER METAL WORKS HAS NO CONTROL OVER THIS AND THEREFORE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR VARIATIONS. CUSTOM FABRICATION

All custom orders require a 50% deposit with the balance due on delivery for C.O.D. customers. Credit customers will be invoiced for the balance due per terms. Custom orders may not be canceled once work has commenced. Custom orders canceled prior to commencement may be subject to restocking fees on materials ordered and drafting time. Complete information on the custom nature of the product and detailed drawings must accompany the order.

TERMS

Upon approval of credit by MMW, invoices are net 30 days after the completion of order and verbal notification. Past due accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month service charge. Any action taken to enforce the collection of any balance due on an invoice is subject to additional attorney / collection fees and costs. Credit terms may be revised at any time at the discretion of MMW.

STORAGE

Master Metal Works is a factory, not a storage facility. Customers are expected to make arrangements for the pick up or delivery of their order within 1 week from verbal notification of completion. Any order remaining at MMW after (1) week may be subject to a storage fee of 5% of the order total per week.
